Tsholo is a qualified Chemical Engineer with 16 years experience within the mining fraternity. Her career began in 2015 at De Beers Consolidated Mines, South Africa where she held numerous positions which allowed her to hone her technical skills while simultaneously gaining experience in production and people management.

In her latter years at De Beers, Tsholo fulfilled the role of commissioning Metallurgist on one of the company’s
flagship mining projects Post her tenure at De Beers, Tsholo
joined Eskom Primary Energy (PED) as a Senior Quality and Quantity Advisor, with a specific focus on laboratory auditing. Her responsibilities included the implementation of coal quality
management procedures and verification sampling of coal delivered at Eskom’s Power Stations.

In 2005 while at Eskom, she joined the Engineering Sub-division within Technical Services as a Process Engineer. Her experience and
responsibilities in this role include: bias testing of auto mechanical sampler and process auditing. In addition, she was part of a project team, which investigated the feasibility of Destoning coal using FGX plant.
